The park area is made up of several amenities for members to use year round. Visitors accompanying members are allowed to use the amenities.

The park is available year round for paid association members. Friends of members may only use the amenities when accompanied by a member. Community members get together multiple times per year to enjoy all the park amenities and other times volunteering to keep our park area clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone.  The park closes at dark and everyone using the park should leave it as good or better then they found it so the next family will enjoy it just as much.

Community Garden Plots
GFCACA has built a fenced in garden plot location for members to share raised planting beds.  This gives members a relaxing location away from home that they can plant whatever they like and enjoy the connection with mother nature. 

Garden Club
The Greater First Colony Garden Club aims to promote the love of gardening, to protect native shrubs, trees, birds, and wildflowers, to encourage civic planting and beauty, and to share knowledge, plants, seeds, bulbs, and roots with others. The Club is dedicated to beautifying our community and supporting environmentally sound practices and donates funds to projects that further those goals. The Club meets September through June, generally at 2 p.m. on the third Monday of the month at the Clubhouse.  Membership is open to all Greater First Colony residents; annual dues are $25.
