First Colony Pool

The First Colony pool is a 25 meter, competition-sized pool, with a shallow area, lap lane, diving well with two low diving boards, and a separate baby pool. Several canopies provide shaded areas to go along with the plentiful area for sunning. We have a beautiful brand new pool house with a snack bar, rest rooms, and changing rooms. 

Location
The pool is located within the Greater First Colony park near the playground and clubhouse at 125 Pasbehegh Drive, Williamsburg VA 23185.

The traditional pool season runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day; however, efforts are made to open in weekends prior to and following the season. If this is possible, or if there are any closures for any reasons, please join and monitor the notices on the Greater First Colony Pool Facebook Page.

Normal Hours

Open swimming	7 days a week	11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Lap swimming	Monday - Friday Saturday and Sunday	5:00 AM - 7:45 AM (yield to Swim team) 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM

The pool will close 3 evenings of the year to host The Flyers Swim meets. In addition, the pool will close at the discretion of the head guard and manager in the event of inclement weather. Please view the Greater First Colony Facebook Page for status updates.

Pool memberships are available to GFCACA members and to residents of nearby neighborhoods. Greater First Colony residents must be GFCACA members to join the pool.

Grandparent Membership       $415 N/A

Guests: Each Membership (not each Member) is permitted to bring guests to the pool facility and each Guest is limited to five (5) visits during the summer season, provided that the required guest fee is paid for each visit. The guest fee is $5 per person for each visitor. Guests must be accompanied by the Member who invited them.

If you are interested in reserving the pool for a private event after hours, please contact the pool manager directly (Roxana rrmjank@aol.com).  Any after hour reservation will be subject to the availability of staff aged 16 or higher, as required by Virginia Labor Law.

Though COVID restrictions have been lifted, pool staff will still exercise a healthy cleaning protocol.  It is critical that those who have experienced sickness or have had symptoms do not visit the pool until they are symptom free for TWENTY FOUR HOURS prior to coming to the pool.
