HOW EVENTS HAPPEN

We need volunteers to help organize and work at our neighborhood events!

The community is made up of many special people volunteering their time to organize events all year long.   For most of the picnics, the association provides food, drinks, and encourages everyone to bring a dish to share with friends and neighbors.  All paid members are invited to attend.  Guests of members may attend for a fee.  Most events are held on Saturday or Sunday closest to the holiday.

If you want to coordinate a planned event or organize a new event, please contact a Recreation Co-chair, either Anna Mahr or Jennifer Unger We have all the information you need from documenting our previous events.  Everything is paid by the association making the process as stress free as possible.  As the event coordinator, your task is to use Signup Genius to get volunteers to do most of the work.  Post the event on our Facebook page in advance, and you can get as much help as you would like.

If you would like to lend a hand to an event coordinator, that would be most welcome.  As a volunteer, you'll find out how much fun working with your neighbors can be.  Follow this page and our Facebook Page to learn about upcoming events.  Check often as a lot happens around the 'hood".
